Rosemary, Lavender & Frankincense  Shampoo

2 oz. Aloe Vera Gel

4 oz. Castile Soap (unscented is best)

1 tsp. Olive Oil

2 tsp. Baking Soda

20 drops Rosemary (Rosmarinus officianalis ct. verbenone) Essential oil

20 drops Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) Essential oil

20 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) Essential oil

2 tsp. Xanthan Gum

2 tsp. Vitamin E oil (preservative)

Pour all into a plastic bottle, shake and add more xanthan gum if you would like it thicker.  Make sure to put in a PET plastic bottle so the essential oils do not eat or leach the plastic.  Since this contains both Frankincense and Rosemary which are considered emmenagogue oils, do not use if you are trying to get pregnant or in your first trimester.   Also, due to the higher camphor content, Rosemary is not recommended for children under 3, use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.  Adjust the olive oil as necessary.  Use are you would use your regular shampoo.  Or use every other day.

After-Shave Soothing Oil

1 oz Jojoba Oil or Fractionated Coconut Oil

10 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) Essential oil

10 drops Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) Essential oil

Pour into a glass pump bottle or PET plastic.  Apply after shaving.  Again, this contains Frankincense, same pregnancy considerations should be followed.
